Christmas Tree Pick-Up
This Saturday, January 6 is the annual Christmas Tree Pick Up. Various community organizations will be collecting previously loved Christmas Trees and transporting them to the Old Resource Centre Site, located behind the Pomeroy Sport Center, where the trees will then be chipped and turned into compost. Residents who will be wishing to take part in this service will leave their trees curb side by 8:00 am on Saturday. Remember to remove all decorations, tinsel and plastic tree bags. Leave your tree on top of any snow banks and ensure your tree is easily accessed for the volunteer organizations collecting them. If residents miss this date, they are welcome to drop their tree off themselves January 7 - 13, 2018 For more Information, Please contact the Visitor Center at # 250.785.3033

Engage Sport North is hosting a fun activity night tonight at Duncan Cran Elementary School from 6:00-7:30 PM. Families with children aged 0-6 (older siblings are welcome!) are invited to come out and try out our free play and group exercises!

8th Annual FSJ Zombie Walk
Sydney spoke with Becky of the Kin Club about the upcoming Zombie Walk! This Saturday will be a fun opportunity to dress like a zombie, have fun, and raise non-perishable food items for the Fort St John Women's Resource Society. The Walkers will gather at the Centennial Park around 12 PM and begin the walk at 1 PM sharp. Make sure you keep your eyes peels for the zombie mob that will make it's way through downtown.

Dunkraiser - Saturday, September 16
Come our this Saturday and support the Fort St John Women's Resource Society. From 11:00 am to 2:00 pm there will be a BBQ at Home 2 Suites by Hilton Fort St John Hotel located at 9519 111 Street. There will be face painting, balloon animals and a lot of fun! Bring a non perishable food item, or a monetary donation for a burger or hot dog. Buy your throws and you could have the chance to dunk our very own Sydney Reid at 1:30 pm. Thank you to Home2 Suited, Phoenix Volunteer Club, and On Our Way Home Animal Rescue for pulling this together!
